welding up outer door post and must have been rushing or not paying attention as i found the car burning. Fire was well away before i even noticed.

lucky the damage was minimal, apart from the complete destruction of the lighting circuit, fuse box, indicator circuit and relay and the brakes seem to have turned to mush so guessing the master cylinder is also fooked or should i say cooked.

Had the roof foam nicely alight on mine when I de-seemed. Lucky I had an auto darkening mask on and when I stopped welding the mask was flickering because of flames!!

Sorry to see the damage on yours Ben, hope it isn't too bad. I am away at the moment or I would have offered a hand. Pity the first time I see your bug is like this.
