So in other words you can relate its physical predicament to yours......kinda connected.......perhaps slightly comical. Good One1

its the oily bit that leaks, if you lay on your back and stick your hand up behind the exhaust and twist it to the left, you`ll feel the oil and dirt soaked heart and soul of your campervan

Rip the bastard out and smash it up with a hammer and stick some instant gasket over the hole

you`ll have no more trouble from it then

So what your saying is that you would like to rip it soul out, but your not going to LOL?

Seriously though......what do you really mean by soul?

Like is it a 'feeling' that theres more to the van than mere metal...
,,,,,,,,,,,and also I find its hard for a lot of people to even imagine
'hurting' their van...like even ripping out its 'imaginary soul'

He He...here I go again with my arty Monday morning philisophical debate;)

But yeah try and add to this chat................

I have no problem hurting my bus...

...its a bad bus and deserves to be hurt, it knows it and fully accepts it, she knows i have her best interest at heart and understands that sometimes, the things that dont kill you, make you stronger

I did rip out honorste`s soul and smashed it up with a hammer, but i had a feel around the other day....and sure enough, she has another soul again

its like chopping a worm in 2, it just makes 2 worms

So its the engine is the soul is that what your saying?

Soul has been defined as is the incorporeal essence of a person or living thing or object...

In other words the non physical attribute...whereas an engine is
physical........or is it totally? he he!!! Explain yersellll he he!!!

i`m not on about the engine, you lay on your back with the engine in your face, reach up behind the engine near the exhaust and turn your hand left....and feel for the oily leaky thing

its not in any diagrams, you cant buy a replacement and you cant see it if you shine a torch

you have roll up your sleeve and feel for the leaky soul of a vw campervan

once smashed it leaves no trace, but gaurenteed, next time you feel for it, the soul will be where it always was

If I lie under my van I might get oil in my face ;)

If its not in any diagrams....perhaps you should do a quick
pen sketch and send me a copy. I am very intriqued as to you logic.

How often do you do the soul check?;)

a pen sketch wouldnt capture or explain the diagram, i`d need colour feltips, some wood , petrol, fishing wire, a pair of green overalls, and some white paper ones too, a bunson burner and flint, some lazers, various gases, access to a lab, a vacum chamber, some extra slim filter tips and cofee filters and probably some lime jelly and suitable bowl / mould

even then, i`m not confident i could produce an understandable diagram, but it would be fun trying

I dont bother with soul checks, i`m satisfied the bus has stood its ground and made its point, i dont feel the need to keep checks on its soul, i`ve got my own soul to worry about :-)
