new 1600 twin port engine only done 100 miles, all parts are new fan housing,gen stand, pulley only used parts on engine totally complete engine based on super strong ali auto linea case , sitting on wheeled trolley for transportation £1,000---1200 engine almost complete needs assembling,good crack free case ,heads crank rods, new pistons and barrels,carb new exhaust new £300---1600 as new exhaust(paint burnt off)100 miles old with good pair of genie vw heat exchangers, chrome tailpipes and clamps £100---two pict 34 carbs,both good runners will have had rebuild kits fitted one solex one bocar £50 each---pre 65 king and link pin carriers were nos fitted with new bushes, reamed comes with king pins £100---vw torque master tool for removing and fitting flywheels and rear hub nuts £50---located in beamish, pm or tel 0191 3703628.

complete and ready to run,was balanced built with all quality parts,kennedy heavy duty cluth and pressure plate, was in the aussie bug.

Does the 1600 engine have bus mounts?

yes the engine has bus mounts, the ally case is universal can be used for a type1,type 2 or type 3 with the correct tinware for each application.

as I never got paid for the king&links or the torque miester tool they are still for sale, only the exhaust and heat exchanges are sold, been lots of time wasters on vzi, engine sold three times but never got paid ,and the one who thought the new complete engine was £300 and the parts engine was £1,000,strange people.

Here's a novel idea. Try using EBay to sell stuff and the forum for chatting, encouraging people's builds and restorations and anything else that may keep it alive :wink:
