Non VW Spitfire Chassis

Got this in for weld and blast then to paint in finnish colour orange.
Had to make a jig to chop off front section and replace then replace outriggers.

Now ready for prep and finnish painting in orange and black

I had a 1972 mkiv 1300 Spitfire when I was 18. Those were the days, before car insurance went mental :wink:

I was just talking to a lad in the rugby club who said his dad was doing one of these. This isn't Daves from Houghton is it? He used to have a Morgan and lived in my street when I was a lad if it is.

It is mate its his dads He is David also and a good friend :wink:

Was just talking to his son about his might 1000 and he mentioned his dad was doing a spitfire. Small world ha ha
