Following from Leebazs thread about his old cars, it got me reminiscing and I thought why not put pics of cars you used to have here for entertainment purposes.

Great thread Chris, i've made it a sticky as well :wink:

There's loads I could post here but first one has to be this, which I still regret getting rid of to buy my Wifes Covin :cry:

I built it from bare shell and used it as my everyday car for close to 10 years. Was a while back now and it was almost as fast as My Bus :lol: :lol:

first car was beige coloured one of these beauties with the side of next doors zanussi washing machine welded on the floor, no first or third gears and loadsa rust - it was so great when it went I didnt get another car for about ten years:D

how about this 2,8td isuzu motor 35x13.5x15 tyres 12,000lb front winch 9,000lb rear winch go anywhere machine just bloody awful on the road

This is my very first car after passing driving test in 1979. Its a '68 1500 cost £120 and only lasted about 9 months before it died of rust. I had no money to save him.
I outragously hand painted with a paint brush.

Ok I spotted it is actually a VW but what the hell i still want to share it with you.

edit again: based in South Shields used as an Animal Rescue vehicle for a very young South tyneside Animal Rescue run by Maria Goddard (Then) and myself. Anyone know us?
